If you are a Python user and are having problems establishing a session when connecting to NoMachine, check your .bashrc file for a conda initialization section. It should look something like this:
# >>> conda initialize >>>
# !! Contents within this block are managed by 'conda init' !!
__conda_setup="$('/pkg/software_depot/app/anaconda/202007/bin/conda' 'shell.bash' 'hook' 2> /dev/null)"
if [ $? -eq 0 ]; then
eval "$__conda_setup"
else
if [ -f "/pkg/software_depot/app/anaconda/202007/etc/profile.d/conda.sh" ]; then
. "/pkg/software_depot/app/anaconda/202007/etc/profile.d/conda.sh"
else
export PATH="/pkg/software_depot/app/anaconda/202007/bin:$PATH"
fi
fi
unset __conda_setup
# <<< conda initialize <<<
If you have a section like the above (or something similar) in your .bashrc, you will need to either comment it out or just delete the whole section in order to connect to lts using NoMachine.
